What is Conductive Education
Conductive Education is a holistic learning system that teaches people with motor disorders how to move, think, and problem-solve — just as other children learn through everyday experiences.
Unlike conventional therapies that treat symptoms, Conductive Education is a comprehensive educational approach. Founded by Hungarian physician Professor András Pető in the 1940s, it harnesses the brain's neuroplasticity to create new pathways for movement.
Who We Support
Conductive Education can benefit children, adolescents and adults with motor disorders, including:
Cerebral palsy
Acquired brain injury
Developmental coordination disorder (dyspraxia)
Spina bifida
Global development delay
Other neurological conditions affecting movement
Every program is tailored to the individual's abilities, goals, and needs.
During a session, Andrea works one-on-one using structured purposeful activities that teach movement and problem-solving skills through active learning.
Sessions focus on building independence in everyday activities like sitting, standing, walking, and fine motor skills. Progress is built through repetition, encouragement, and celebrating every achievement.
Andrea supports clients of all ages, tailoring each program to the individual's age, abilities, and goals.
